THE FILING PROCESS

Seven steps, most of them once.

Steps one to five happen on the first day and never again. Six and seven are what your team does from then on.

  1. 01

Create an account. A free trial, no credit card required.

  2. 02

    Connect GitHub

Install the GitHub app in one click and choose which repositories to grant.

  3. 03

    Create a project

Link a repository. Optionally set a default URL and login credentials so visual QA can test authenticated pages.

  4. 04

    Choose your checks

Toggle the agents you want per project. Sensible defaults are already on, so you can start without configuring anything.

  5. 05

    Set up notifications

Send verdicts to Slack or email, and get a completion certificate when each run finishes.

  6. 06

    Trigger a review

For pull requests: add the shipguarde label, comment @shipguarde run, or call it from CI. For the web: run against any URL or on a schedule.

  7. 07

    Read the verdict

Get one decision, ship, ship with notes, or block, with findings and a step-by-step trace attached.

WHAT LANDS

One decision, signed.

Every run ends in a ruling with the findings and the step-by-step trace attached, so the developer reading it can act without asking anyone what it means.

Code review checks the diff. ShipGuarde also checks the running product, so a release does not ship on the hope that nothing broke.
